What a joy!

I must say, it was a joy to work with two wonderful youth groups. You both made me homesick for youth ministry. I wish I was back in the States to work with American teens and I wish my Polish was great so that I could work with Polish teens. For some reason, I am in the middle. God is preparing me for something and the camp wetted my appetite to serve and honor HIM!

Here are some pictures from kids' camp...this first one is of the entire group!

This next one is of the eight that accepted Christ while at camp.

Here's my dad and little Karolina pouting! I love this picture!

These are half of my children! ;) Unfortunately, my arms were never big enough to embrace all of them!

This last picture is of me and Dagmara...after finger painting! That's what finger painting is all about! =)

Kids' Camp

Hello Everyone,
Our family just got back from a week-long kids' camp in Wisla. To say the least, it was tiring, but rewarding. There were about 40 kids and...let's just say they had a lot of energy! Some of them were very disrespectful and disobedient at times, which made it difficult. However, we were also able to build some very good relationships with the kids...just being able to show them God's unconditional love.
Many of the children come from broken homes and were starving for love and attention. One of the ways that I felt God allowed me to show His love was by braiding the girls' hair. Oftentimes their hair was very greasy, but I had to remind myself that God loves them no matter what they look like. By simply braiding their hair (however greasy it may be), I was able to shower God's love upon the girls. And even though I wasn't able to communicate with them the best in Polish, just a big hug or a loving touch on the shoulder assured them that they were being cared for.
At the end of the camp, eight kids prayed to Jesus, asking Him to come into their hearts. Praise the Lord! However, they need a lot of prayer. Satan was also seen at work throughout the camp, and it will only get harder for the kids as they return home. So pray that God will give them strength and a desire to know Him more.
Pray, too, for our family. We are pretty wiped of energy. English Camp is coming up soon, and we'll need our strength back for that! So, please pray that we would be revived and that we would feel prepared for this next camp that we're really looking forward to!
Are there any prayer requests that you guys have? As a youth group, we have been praying for God to work a miracle, and bring in all of the needed support for you guys. We are confident that God will work through all of the details--even the financial ones.
Okay, I think that is all for now! I can't believe you guys will be here in just a few weeks...time is flying by! We're really looking forward to English Camp! Oh yeah, one more piece of good news. Two girls from kids' camp are considering coming to English Camp. Sylwia (14) and Ania (13) came to youth group last night with a little convincing, and we're hoping God will call them to camp as well! Pray for these girls and for all the others that God wants to attend camp.
All for God's glory!
